Jack Parker
Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Business Development
Jack Parker joined Acosta in 1991 as a business manager in the Orlando market.
He was named vice president, team leader of the Publix customer team when
Acosta restructured around customer (retailer) teams in 1994, and he served as
vice president and team leader through 2002. From 1997 through 1999 he was also
region vice president, Florida region. Parker was promoted to senior vice
president, special projects in July 2002, with responsibility for leading the
company’s Six Sigma initiatives. In March 2004 he was promoted to executive
vice president of strategic initiatives. In 2005 he took over responsibility
for new business development, where he currently focuses most of his attention.
Prior to joining Acosta, Parker worked for the Clorox Company as region sales
manager and for Procter & Gamble’s Paper Division in various sales
management roles. Parker is an honors graduate of the University of North
Carolina.
