Jack Laurendeau
Vice Chairman
Jack Laurendeau brings more than 25 years of diverse
industry experience to his role as Acosta's vice chairman.
A former director of national
food sales for Welch's, where he spent nine years working
in corporate and field sales positions of increasing responsibility,
Laurendeau also has served Coca-Cola foods as district manager
- New England and has worked for Scott Paper Company. In
1993 Laurendeau became vice president of grocery sales for
MAI-Alper Inc., serving in various leadership capacities
before being named as its president and chief operating
officer in 1996. He became part of the Acosta family in
1999 when Acosta acquired MAI and has played an instrumental
role in the company's most recent successes. Laurendeau
is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. He has held
a seat on the Acosta Board of Directors since the MAI acquisition
and is also a member of the The Genesis Fund Board of Directors.
